The chance to view a completely new product all day, and the opportunity to win it during the Cocktail hour from 4.30pm.
Maxton Fox and Kaolin Tiles have partnered to develop a truly customised piece of furniture, designed by Jacqueline Hall Senior Associate at PTW.
“Against the Grain” creates a striking fusion of classic shapes and contemporary composition, featuring a mosaic of elegant porcelain tiles set atop a meticulously turned solid walnut timber base.
The design draws inspiration from the past, conveying Ray Eames’ playful approach to design and colour. Eames’ showed us that furniture can be an artform too, with this in mind the design has been developed as a sculpture. Making use of recyclable materials and waste, forming opportunities to feature the unique porcelain tiles and the natural beauty of walnut.
Jacqueline’s vision breathes new life into classic forms, bringing playfulness, bold colours and unexpected juxtapositions to produce a signature timeless table design that stands out from the crowd.
