The design director of textile brand Mokum, Stephanie began her career with the company in 1993 when she was just 22 years old, fresh out of design school in Wellington.
Since then, she’s risen through the company and moved to Australia to lead Mokum’s design team.
From the Sydney based studio, Mokum creates luxury textiles, wallpapers and trimming developed with the finest international mills from around the globe, which reflect our Antipodean lifestyle. Mokum’s designs are exported throughout the world with two established home markets, Australia and New Zealand, where Mokum has built a significant and loyal following.
Mokum has since expanded its distribution into export markets and is available in Asia, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and North America.
The Mokum studio has also collaborated with Catherine Martin, Australian born Academy award winning costume designer and production designer. Stephanie and her team have worked with Martin creating five collections under Catherine Martin by Mokum, and are launching their sixth collection inspired by Catherine Martins forthcoming film work.
